Moodles

Moodles are small, circular status indicators that appear in the top right corner of the screen in Project Zomboid. They are used to warn the player of impending danger or to remind them of an important need, such as thirst. Moodles can be useful in avoiding dangerous situations or in planning ahead.

Bleeding

The character is bleeding from an open wound, whether it is a bite, scratch, or other injuries.

The severity of the bleeding determines the rate at which the character loses health.

This status can be removed by bandaging the bleeding location to remove the negative status, or by feeding to offset the loss of health.

Note: Zombies are attracted to the smell of player bleeding.

Thirst

While drinking water is the most obvious way to cure thirst, there are a few other things you can do to help quench your thirst. Eating certain fruits and vegetables can help, as they contain water.

Put a container with water in the player’s main inventory and the player will automatically drink water.
