Put upgrade parts in your main inventory (not in a backpack), drop the bicycle on the ground, stand near it, then right-click → Upgrade.

Put parts in your main inventory (not in a backpack).
Drop the bicycle on the ground and stand near it.
Right-click the bicycle → Upgrade → pick the attachment.

Bike-hunting micro-strategy
Hit low-zed density edge zones first (you want a bike, not a funeral).
Target garages: they also feed your base pipeline (tools, nails, etc.).
Test the bike on quieter roads before using it in town.
Combat + bikes (practical rules)
Don’t sprint-bike into tight urban corners unless you’ve cleared them.
Don’t assume trees are “soft collision.”
If you’re tired, stop pretending speed will save you.
