- Grid — integer pins used by this site and
/en/B42/?goto=x,y(example:1011, 1278). - Approx world X/Y —
grid × 10(example:10110, 12780). Handy for debug teleport; fine-tune inside the 10×10 block. - Floor — pins are ground-level reference only. Apartment towers and school upper floors need in-game floor checks.
- Note column — nearest matching room type near the pin (not a full building outline).

Town overview
March Ridge sits south of Muldraugh as a dense residential pocket with one main school campus and a short commercial strip. Multi-floor apartment blocks and elevators make vertical movement a real factor; commercial rooms are clustered rather than spread across a full small-town grid.
Population pressure is often high under default Apocalypse-style settings, but it is not a fixed “impossible base” rule. Suitability depends on sandbox population multipliers, how much of the town you clear, choke points you can wall, and whether you stage supplies out of town after each run (wall building guide).
Base & staging notes (conditional)
These are layout-oriented notes, not ranked “safest in March Ridge” scores. For quieter first bases many players still prefer Rosewood or Muldraugh and treat March Ridge as a loot destination until population and fortifications are under control.
School campus · grid 999, 1265
Large multi-building footprint with kitchen/cafeteria storage and sports facilities. Good long-term shell if you can afford a full perimeter and multi-room clear. Expect long corridors and many doors — plan exits before you settle.
Apartment towers · grid 1006, 1263
Vertical housing cluster with elevator cores. Useful when you want stacked storage and limited street frontage per floor, but stairs/elevator access must be controlled and noise management matters on dense blocks.
Commercial strip staging · grid 1014, 1278
Best as a short-term staging point during loot runs: fuel-style corner storage, food next door, pharmacy and clinic a short block away. High street exposure — better for day trips than an unfortified long-term home on default population.
Church (east edge) · grid 1032, 1278
Eastern landmark away from the densest commercial strip. Quieter edge layout for some sandboxes, but farther from grocery/medical restock and still needs a full perimeter check.

Categories below match building types near each pin. Container rolls, alarms, and zombie counts are not guaranteed. Classic grocery / gas / pharmacy / clinic pins remain the main commercial-strip loot loop.

Food & fuel 2
Fuel pumps sit as map objects near the corner store; treat fuel as map-dependent, not a guaranteed free tank fill.
