The different types of radios
There are three types of radio in the game: Premium Technologies Radio, ValuTech Radio, and Makeshift Radio.
The Premium Technologies Radio is the best quality radio, with a base volume range of 15 and a condition max of 100. The ValuTech Radio is slightly lower quality, with a base volume range of 10 and a condition max of 100.
The Makeshift Radio is the lowest quality radio, with a base volume range of 10 and a condition max of 100. If you have the electrical skill, you can craft makeshift radios using electronics scrap and other components.
All three radios use batteries, and all three can be used to listen to radio broadcasts. The Premium Technologies Radio is the only radio that can be used to make two-way radio calls. For power management, consider connecting radios to generators to save battery life.
